Hi my name is Evelin Vermont and I’m from a really small country in Central America called Honduras. My country overall is in constant political crises, it is developing financially, we’re not very influential around the world. And there’s a lot of things that would be setbacks for people in my country and people in my area to be in missions. And yet here I am in Cambodia. I am in Southeast Asia bringing the gospel to people who have never heard it before. And it’s not because of anything I’ve done it’s not because of how am I accredited or anything of the sort. But because the Lord is good and He is faithful to provide and because as He has called me to be obedient and I’ve taken the steps of obedience I’ve been able to see him as God my provider.
And so if you’re from a small country and the Lord has called you to go to anywhere else and it feels impossible and it feels challenging, I’m here to say that it’s possible! That the Lord can provide, that he is able and that I’ve seen him do it many times not just for my life but also for the life of other Central Americans, of other people in small countries.

And so I just want to invite all the people from the small countries. Most of you probably don’t even know where you would be able to locate my country on a map, and maybe I want to be able to look at your country on a map. But that’s not important, because the Lord has called us to go to all the nations! And we are here with you and not just believing for ourselves but believing with you and believing for you that the Lord is your provider. And that even if you face setbacks culturally or economically or your family doesn’t fully understand this because in your culture you don’t ask for money. We understand that too, I understand that as well. That is also a challenge that I face regularly. But I also know that the Lord is greater than those things and that in the midst of our culture he goes against our culture. And so I believe that as he has called me and he’s provided for me he can do the same for you.
