Repost from @_ywammyrtlebeach_ - “Generation after generation will declare more of your greatness and declare more of your glory.” Psalm 145:4 . . #ywam #1040window #unreachedpeoples #beamissionary #go
Repost from @thetravelingteam - Mobilizers are strategic motivators 💥 A Mobilizer in simplistic terms is one who multiplies, disciples, or mentors in missions! They help believers find their niche as either goers, senders, welcomers, or mobilizers. How are YOU being a mobilizer?
Repost from @ymnoeme - And he (Jesus) said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19 (ESV)
Repost from @ywamspheres - TOMORROW! (Or TODAY for some of you). YWAM is praying globally on Feb 14 for the missions movement from the Majority World. ⁣ ⁣ As YWAMERS in the Spheres, we are still part of “YWAM the movement” even if we aren’t in “YWAM the organization”. ⁣ ⁣ I believe it moves God’s heart when we align with the lifelong movement he led all of us into. ⁣ ⁣ One practical way we can do this is by praying with our YWAM family tomorrow. ⁣ ⁣ From YWAM.org “Join YWAMers around the globe in praying and hearing from God. He is inviting you!⁣ ⁣ You are invited to join together with thousands of YWAMers from around the world as we pray and hear from God about the mobilization of Two-Thirds-World (Majority World) missionaries.⁣ ⁣ For decades there has been a dramatic shift in the makeup of the global body of Christ. In the 1900’s, most Christians lived in Western nations. But today, most of the followers of Jesus are from Asia, Africa and Latin America. As one would expect, there has been a similar shift in the makeup of the missions force. In 2010, three of the top ten countries sending the most missionaries were from Asia and Latin America: Brazil, South Korea and India. Other notable sending nations included South Africa, the Philippines, Mexico, China, Colombia, and Nigeria. (Melissa Steffen in Christianity Today.)⁣ ⁣ This means that missions is no longer “the West reaching the rest.” It is “the reached reaching the unreached.” According to mission researcher Jason Mandryk, “Today the Majority World Church sends out as many cross-cultural missionaries as does the Western Church.”⁣ ⁣ #ywam #ywamthemovement #onceaywamer #lifestylemissionary #7spheres #ywamers #ywamerscommunity #ywamvalues #7mountains
Repost from @thetravelingteam - All throughout scripture, God makes promises to his people. These promises span from Genesis all the way to Revelation. In Genesis 12, God promised Abraham that he would be a blessing to all nations. This promise is weaved throughout the entire bible. In Revelation 7:9 we see a picture of heaven showing that this promise will be completed.
Repost from @gostoryline - During the 1700's Moravian mission's movement 1 out of every 60 Christians was a missionary. Today only 1 out of every 5,000 Protestant Christians is a missionary.
